Gibline or Giblink - Whatever - I Won't Be Joining
Problem #1:
What the heck IS the name of this company anyway?
Is it Gibline or Giblink? Does anyone know? I mean even the members can't get it straight! Case in point: here is the subject line from an email that just hit my inbox: "Cynthia, You Must Join Gibline/Giblink Now!"
Uh...thanks for the invite, but no thanks. I'm really not comfortable joining a company that appears to be suffering from an Identity Crisis!
Problem #2:
It seems every person on the net has joined "it" except for me, which wouldn't be a bad thing if not for the fact that it has turned my daily SPAM into a total bore.
I mean, I'm used to being bombarded by a new horde of pre-launches every day, and now 90% of my email is nothing but gibberish!
Problem #3:
"It" is being promoted by some as the next MySpace, YouTube or even Google. Now I can only muster up one comment to that: "People...Get a Grip!"
Now, to help you come down to Earth, just ponder this thought for a moment: Do any of those companies revolve around a bunch of mlm junkies looking for some passive residual income? I think not. And this brings me to...
Problem #4: In my eight years of marketing online, I have learned a thing or two, and one of those two things is that distributor-based opportunities don't last very long.
Here's why: If the product can't stand on its own, as soon as things slow down even a little, people will start dropping like moths on a bug zapper.
Problem #5: Does anybody even care what the product is? Well, we all know the answer to that, so let's move on.
What bothers me the most about Gibline/Giblink is the compensation plan. And here's why:
Straight-line Matrix Programs Flat Out Don't Work! It's as simple as that. Now, there are, no doubt, millions of people in the world who are not aware of that fact, but I know for a fact that there are many people (ie: heavy hitters, ponzi players, money-game players) promoting Gibline who ARE aware. Yet they go right on enticing people to join, knowing full well that anyone joining now will most likely NEVER see a dime.
Here's a short lesson on the life of a straight-line matrix:
First some heavy hitters get in with multiple positions. Then they start recruiting others with the promise of passive income.
This is very good for those who got in first, as they will be cycling and making boatloads of money. But, after a few weeks, things will slow down a bit. The heavy-hitters will stop promoting and will move on to the next big thing. Meanwhile, all those who joined late will be left behind.
It is inevitable, and those at the top, or those who have been around awhile know this to be true.
The math is impossible, and numbers don't lie. In fact, any matrix structure which claims to pay out more than it takes in is nothing more than a ponzi or a money game.
In fact, many are comparing Gibline / Giblink to another, similar program that ran successfully for a couple of years before it finally died, leaving many people financially devastated. I won't mention any names here, but suffice to say that this other program did more damage, in more ways, than I care to even think about.
And I do try NOT to think about it whenever I get the chance, but lately it's darn near impossible.
Every day I receive an invitation from someone telling me that I MUST join Gibline / Giblink because it's similar to "XYZ" program.
Well I've been suffering in silence long enough.
It's time to come out and say "that's precisely Why I Won't be Joining."
There, I said it and I feel much better now. At least until I check my inbox and come across the next invitation. Geesh.

ok you are just plain stupid to be sitting there on your high horse thinking you know it all. First of all, you are completely wrong about giblink. it has IT'S merits and you havn't a clue what you are talking about. and Second of all the ONLY ones left behind are stupid people like you who will sit there with your jaw on the floor when EVERYONE you know is making ALOT of money and you still have RENT to pay. and Third,I will send you a personal email with a copy of my BANK STATEMENT from MY new house, then we will see who laughs!
I Agree....
How can people be so gullible when they see straight line matrices being put out by the same promoter every 6-8months...Same group of First ins who make a killing and then it disappears...Also why a PRE LAUNCH...is there something missing.
Yes people have been paid...so a are Ponzi victims up front.
I will gladly appreciate the Fortunes made TO BE made by the thousands...SHOW ME
I don't have any serious Marketing friends, who are making very good Income from establishing their own Products and providing real services, joining this childish Feeding Frenzy being foisted on the un-intiated...By the way
Has AGLOCO created many Millionaires???
How about the one that was going to give the Internet Back..are there Fortunes there?
Where is Pro-builder Wealth? and the other programs promoted by the same group...
Yes there was money mad...by how many and for how long?
I won`t be as rude as some people, but you have got it wrong about giblink.
Giblink is not just one entity-as there is more than one aspect to it.
Generally people who do not research a business thoroughly are the first to cry "scam" or "ponzi".
Sure straight line programs will not work if they rely on more people joining to pay the ones at the top.
A better study of the comp plan will show why gibline is different, but I would not be as cocky as Cheryl. Caution in all things- remember YMMSS?
Yes some of made some money, but nothing to retire on.
I would put giblink in the same class. Get in early but don't expect miracles and don't expect fortunes in any of these online wonders (including PWF ) unless you are clever enough to set up your own "next big thing". That way you are sure to be right at the top and making the money.
Cynthia, I want you to know first that I love reading your blog. You give wise advice...some people just refuse to take it. Regardless of what anyone thinks of your opinion of any program you don't deserve rude comments or being called names.
I agree with you about the whole Giblink/Gibline whatever proggy. I don't believe any of the bottom ones will be making a fortune or money at all.
It is sad to see the "big" names promoting programs that they themselves know the lower people won't make money on. It's this kind of thing that gives on-line business/marketing such a bad name.
Anyway, thank you *so* much for all of your entries!
God bless you...and he does,

you know im cocky because im sick and tired of the loud mouths who THINK they know everything. But my MAIN question is how much did they look into giblink? hmm? or are they coming up with information in their own heads and want to validate it with a keyboard? I don't come these blogs to sell giblink, i have my own ways of selling thank you and TRUE business minded people GET IT and UNDERSTAND IT....so get a clue people before making assumptions ??
Cheryl P Gibling since Sept and PROUD OF IT!
THere are very few people out there that really tell the truth about all the junk on the net. Thannk you for being so honest and I must say that I agree with you. My mail box got overloaded with e mails regarding joining with Gibline/Giblink and it did nothing but annoy me. So many people get taken in by these kind of offers and then in the end like you said they are left devistated. This kind of MLM only ends up hurting the little guy, leaving them with a very bitter taste in their mouth and when a real opportunity comes along they run the other way.
Like you said those that got in on the begining do make the money and then when they see it starting to waine they get out fast if they understand how this kind of thing works and then move onto the next big and new peogram and start the cycle of sucking in the little guy once again.
Thanks for the honesty, I do know of some other high rollers that do beleve the same thinig as both you and I do. I'm just one of the little guys but I do have a brain and I used it when I got the first message and it said--FORGET this one and just do the business that is paying you and that will not bomb out on you because it is real.
Respectfully
Sharon

I've noticed that Gibline has nothing about the company or the owners. There's no contact information on the website. The domain is on privacy block as well.
Thank you Cynthia;
Despite Cheryl's rather rudely stated opinion, I note three things about Giblink (and I too have received email from them under different IDs -- Giblink, Gibline, and something that may be from a copycat, Gibbank.)
When I first started to receive email from this heavily promoted enterprise, I wrote back to request more infomation, and asking some specific questions. Going on the forth week now and I still have not received an answer to my email, although I sent two follow up requests.
Having already been suckered into joining several programs that, at the best, failed to perform according to the hype stated in their promo material (and at the worst, were a very real, total rip off)I have finally developed the skill needed to recognize the similiarities between programs designed to separate the foolish from their money, even when really brilliant efforts are made to obscure the truth.
When my financial resources allow it, I will accept a couple of your reccomended programs simply because I appreciate your guts in stating your true opinion in "My Gripe Report."

Cynthia and the rest that are crying about Giblink leaving people financially devastated, I got one thing to say...GET A LIFE!
We are not talking about $697 or $1697 like PWF is charging (for overpriced e-books & software). It's a whopping $50 or $150 every 90 days. If a member doesn't make his whopping $50 or $150 back or more which many have already done including myself, they can simply cancel their membership if they so desire, no big deal. Now lets get back to PWF, if an unsuspecting person happens to raise the $697 to join at the bronze level. What kind of assurance does he or she have they will not lose their money they can't afford to lose? So don't talk about $50 or $150 as if it was going to put someone in the doghouse. However if a person loses $697 or $1697, they could find themselves sleeping outside next to fido.
THANK YOU for that well said stament Marshall. And i don't blame you for being "RUDELY" i myself have invested a WHOPPING 150.00 and OMG im BROKE. NOTTTTTTTTTTTT i have already got back three times that in 6 weeks. so like Cheryls said up top there, GET your facts straight. Giblink is NOT out for blood for crying out loud. and IF you were to crawl out of your rattle snake skins, and really dig to find the truth, you would see the Vision that these four men (who by the way have there info on the site) have in their hearts to share with us. im with you Cherly and Marshal i think these people need to wake up and smell the gibmoney!!!!!!
anonymous to keep from being "griped at"
Hi Cynthia
It is totally obvious to me that you did not in fact look into gibLink at all and you have absolutely NO IDEA what you are talking about. I tend to agree with Cheryl, Marshal and Anonymous below Marshal.
Why don't some of you naysayers get on our conference calls and listen to what is happening and while you are there, ask your questions. And, best of all, you will not have to pay for the call, because you can listen to it from the gibline website. You can listen to any call at any time.
Now even tho' you did not name YMMSS we all know who you're talking about. The reason that program died, was because the members got too greedy (I remember one guy saying he had taken out a $25k 2nd mortgage on his house to put into YMMSS!! How stupid was that??)And of course Kim Inman did not have the perfect system.
I think if you REALLY look into gibLink, you'll find that it is quite a bit different from YMMSS!
Oh, and BTW, how do you sleep at night after soaking someone for almost $700 for PWF?

I agree. It's only $50 or $150 every 90 days..with the option to cancel. Let's not forget, though,
that Cynthia is most likely trying to get people to join her "Biz Op"
at who knows how much $$$. So of course she'll knock whatever it is that's "stealing" people who could be giving her the money instead! If I recall correctly, she's currently involved in a "1 up or 2 up" comp plan which is not only illegal(and in most cases, a scam ) but where is the residual if you must recruit constantly in order to make money? I'm sorry if I'm mistaken, as I haven't opened any of her daily (annoying?)emails lately,(and I know I can opt-out, but curiosity gets the better of me at times)& I'm not really sure which biz she's in now, but I do recall her saying how well she is always doing. My question to her: How well are your
downline people doing & do they "break away" from you once they've reached a certain level, which in all reality means you're losing money from people you brought in to the biz, not to mention all the people they may bring in. Wow! And How Is Residual income produced? Do you really want to HAVE to Recruit the rest of your life? Any bus. that depends on their distributors/clients to keep recruiting and recruiting, instead of focusing on retail of their product(s)..well..it's just a matter of time. Ask yourself this:
If there was NOT a business opportunity attached to the product, would you still purchase the product? That's just 1 of the questions the Attorney General will ask When the company starts getting noticed and many complaints.
Anyway..just wanted to ad my thoughts. Enjoy, everybody & Happy Holidays To All!

I am always curious about programs that do not disclose ownership and easy contact
Hello Cynthia,
I know we have sent each other offers via the internet and I have responded to you via email.
I've been marketing offline for about 20 years now and joined everything from Tom Vu's Real Estate Course to SMC to ALC to Zaken to just about every type of moneymaking offer out there!
The one thing I learned is that there is NO free ride or magic money. Yes, you can make money pretty fast even in Real Estate but the leg work to prepare that deal is always time comsuming and labor intensive.
I formed a group with some big direct marketing business owners so we could keep in touch with each other and see what really works.
Most of what is offered online is hype & ONLY there to feed the pockets of the program designers and a few who get in quick. I don't care what others say due to NOT being a greenhorn to all of this.
Most of what Cynthia Howard states is right on the money. I would never join Giblink even though many of my associates joined. Not one of them has made much money to date.
We have formed our own wealth system that goes back to basics! We consider education to be very important so you never get taken plus learn sills that can be applies to ANY business.
Keep It Up Cynthia!
Please contact me for a network proposal we have. I think you just might be blown away with our UNIQUE payplan.
I know you must get asked this quite a bit; however, I just have to ask.
Would you review any new programs to see if they are worthy???
If so, where may I send them too?
It could be worth your while re-assessing your thoughts on giblink! I have been paid, and I certainly was NOT in at the early stages. They have grown over the last 6 months, and are now at a stage where you get revenue shares etc; It's got a long term goal and potential. I am very happy to be there at the moment.
hello everybody,
since i am never sure if there are more fools around or cheaters (or whatever you want call them) in the world wide web... here one can read it! they are as many fools as scams.
i was a member of giblink and i can only agree that it is nothing but scam.
what are all these so "happy" people? are they sedated? are they from that gibthing? who with even a tiny bit of a brain can recommend that to other people?
and not only gibwhatever is the problem. hundreds of thousands of these sites are exploding. but every single one is the same principle. taking the hard earned money from people who are often enough desperate. and desperate people believe everything.
what makes people like cheryl really sure, the programm tells the truth? and to offer to send a copy of her bankstatement?
heavens sake, come down to earth!
how many of so called proofs should i fake for you? how many sites should i make you with promising the paradise? you can write everything on a bloody website. who can proof that is the truth? when i write on my site that i have 2893 paying members, how do you know that is true? when i write that i paid already thousands of dollars, how do you know that is true? when i put on that site "proofs" of earnings, how do you know they are not made with a simple graphic software? did you ever notice how many of these "proofs" are looking all the same?
i lost counting how many sites are there from people who claim they are the only honest person in space, only they have found THAT secret to make money, only they are going to share it. does that not make you think?
millions of sites claiming "get rich with doing nothing". i ask you... no, i am not that rude to ask you that...
would it not be nice all that scam stuff would be working? imagine, no poverty in the world. no starving kids. no homeless people. no people who can't afford treatments they need.
but no, all these people are being played with. they money is being taken away and they are left with nothing.
people, wake up! there is one easy rule to follow: when it sounds to be too good to be true, you can bet your backside it is!!!
sorry, that i sign as anonymus, but this is the first comment ever i made in a blog, so i am registered here or anywhere else for that matter.
New here but how can any mature person come on a blog and call anybody "stupid" to their face?
Alright, I know they get the message. And I was wondering why Cheryl didn't offer to also provide proof that the money in the bank account came from 'that' programme. Wait... couldn't it be that Cheryl's the owner of gulliblink (I'm not so sure of the correct name)?
If you went with my $10 or £7, right now, I could hunt you down. But truth is I would think being an adult means anyone can join any programme he/she so wishes. So why blame or call anyone stupid for being with gibberish (can someone please tell me the exact name, please)?
Ok, I've had it very bad on the internet. (so bad that I haven't made even $1 in three months of trying) Believe me I'm one of the best students there ever can be. But now I have about $650 from zero because I went round and claimed back ALL my funds from all the programmes that promised me heaven but didn't work.
Lesson: please 'try' not put your money where you can't receive immediate gratification or where there's no guarantee of getting it back. I say 'try' because I still believe adults are allowed to gamble (though for obvious reasons many Responsible Gambling Establishments are springing up daily) afterall life in it's entirety is a risk.
Now, can ANYBODY please tell me of any programme on the internet where I will be guaranteedly rewarded i.e. getting paid for my time and effort and not gambling or ads and all that? I mean a real home job. I've tried Surveys but if your pay out threshold was $50, as soon as you hit $45 no more survey comes your way. Rebates processing - they just never give you any..., wait... one more site to get back my money from. Doing that right away. Meanwhile, thanks for your help.
